Summer Institute Technology Session Resources

Hi, all. You can find the online resources for each of my sessions at the address below:

http://plcweb.wikispaces.com

Once you visit the address above, then click on the desired session in the left hand column to be taken to the page for that session. Each page includes a description, agenda, and links to all the tools or examples I mentioned (and many I didn't).

Thank you all for a great conference. I… Continue

How To Post Workshop Resources

All presenters, here's a few quick steps for posting your workshop resources:

1. Go to "My Page" (well, your page really).

2. Scroll down to blog posts.

3. Click "+ Add A New Blog Post."

4. Fill in a meaningful title and description.

5. Here's the magic: click the button that looks like a piece of paper.

6. Browse to your handout or presentation slides - select them - and upload them.

7. A link appears in your post like this:…

Edublogger Meetup at CLMS Annual Conference

An edublogger meetup has just been added for the CLMS conference in San Diego this March! We hope that any of you who will be in attendance (or in the area) will join us for fun and inspiring conversation about technology, learning, and life.

Every year at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), a group of educational bloggers (or edubloggers) gathers for a full day "unconference" where the sessions and topics are decided by the participants. It's an exciting and… Continue

Mark, I tried to approve your friend invite, but the "approve" button did not work (in Explorer or Firefox). I just sent you an invite instead.

No problem Mark. I am setting up a Ning network for my graduate school as an independent study. So far I have added a few widgets, removed the ads (for now), working on the appearance by changing some of the coding in the CSS section, added events to the calendar, and I have a presentation to give to the faculty committee next week. Let me know if you want the URL or help with anything setting this up. Also by the way if you happen to have a need for any specialized workshops in the area of literacy and digital storytelling I would appreciate you keeping me in mind. Been doing lots of work, assignments to students, and research in this area. We are using photostory, but I know how to do it with powerpoint, iMovie, and my favorite is voicethread

This should be exciting. I am, however, ignorant when it comes to this technology. Any tips?

Mark, this is to cool. I really think that once I learn where all of the bells and whistles are I will enjoy this site. Thanks for such a great resource.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your presentations at the conference in Monterey. I created a ning for educators interested in collaborating on Mindset type lessons and resources for a site. I am a Professional Dev leader at my site and would like to work with other likeminded people to bring this concept of growth-mindedness to education :-)

Check out the ning and join us! www.mindsetsineducation.ning.com

Nice meeting you!
