Summer Institute Technology Session Resources

Hi, all. You can find the online resources for each of my sessions at the address below:

http://plcweb.wikispaces.com

Once you visit the address above, then click on the desired session in the left hand column to be taken to the page for that session. Each page includes a description, agenda, and links to all the tools or examples I mentioned (and many I didn't).

Thank you all for a great conference. I had fun sharing with such eager… Continue

All presenters, here's a few quick steps for posting your workshop resources:

1. Go to "My Page" (well, your page really).
2. Scroll down to blog posts.
3. Click "+ Add A New Blog Post."
4. Fill in a meaningful title and description.
5. Here's the magic: click the button that looks like a piece of paper.
6. Browse to your handout or presentation slides - select them - and upload them.

Edublogger Meetup at CLMS Annual Conference

An edublogger meetup has just been added for the CLMS conference in San Diego this March! We hope that any of you who will be in attendance (or in the area) will join us for fun and inspiring conversation about technology, learning, and life.

Every year at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), a group of educational bloggers (or edubloggers) gathers for a full day "unconference" where the sessions and topics are decided by the participants. It's an exciting and high-energy socia… Continue

Hey! Thanks for making me aware of Ning! There are so many of these types of sites out here, it is difficult to tell which ones are helpful. Thanks for your guidance!

Check out the lastest comment on my page. I don't think it's appropriate and how do I delete it?

Do you have any info on the conference this summer in Hawaii. Details? Link?
Thanks!

Mark I just read an interesting article at http://www.sltrib.com/education/ci_12111754?source=rss about a teacher in Utah who created a social studies game for grade 4-8 that I thought might perk your interest, with your penchant for games in education.

Also, if you are available on April 22 at 3pm (PT), I would love to have you join the Innovate Journal webcast, chatting about my new SCCS learning theory and instructional design model that incorporates gaming into education theory and design. The article is in the Innovate Journal's April/May issue at http://innovateonline.info/index.php?view=article&id=524. Hope you can join us!

Hi Mark,
Yup! Mary Tamba has reached out to me and others, as I see from Main Page. So, old friend, it seems that you have some shoring up to do to keep our Professional Social Network a bit less precocious. Good luck pal!

Hey Mark, I joined LeagueLearn after CLMS. I've received 2 comments on my profile - the first doesn't show up, and the 2nd is from our mutual new BFF Mary, who apparently wants email from both of us and doesn't care about our race or age. Any way we could stop the spam and fix the comment not showing?

Mark,
I attended your conference in Indian Wells last summer. You were presenting all of the opportunities that are available through Google. I have some questions regarding using phones as tools to access these options in the classroom. Any way we can have a conversation regarding this?

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your presentations at the conference in Monterey. I created a ning for educators interested in collaborating on Mindset type lessons and resources for a site. I am a Professional Dev leader at my site and would like to work with other likeminded people to bring this concept of growth-mindedness to education :-)

Check out the ning and join us! www.mindsetsineducation.ning.com

Nice meeting you!
