Event Description

The California Council for the Social Studies would like to invite you to attend our 49th Annual Conference in Pasadena. Our conference theme is K-12 Social Studies: Laying the Foundation for a 21st Century Workforce. Proposal Applications are now on line at ccss.org. The dealine for submission is September 30, 2009.
CCSS is a non-profit professional organization serving both public and private school educators, and is the leading voice for quality social studies education in California.

CCSS promotes and supports social studies education through service, advocacy and leadership development. We are collectively committed to the strengthening and teaching of the social studies discipline though professional development, public awareness and collaboration at local, state and national levels.
